You can delete your QuestSpark account at any time: right inside the Android app, or on iPhone by sending us a request (in-app deletion is coming to iPhone soon). Deletion is permanent: once it’s done we can’t bring the account or its data back. This page explains what is deleted, how to do it on Android and iPhone, and how to ask us to do it for you.
Before you delete: cancel your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel QuestSpark Pro. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, and only you can cancel them. Cancel first, or you’ll keep being charged.
- iPhone / iPad (App Store): open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → QuestSpark → Cancel Subscription.
- Android (Google Play): open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → QuestSpark → Cancel subscription.
How to delete your account
On Android
- Open QuestSpark and switch to the parent side (enter your parent PIN).
- Go to Settings and tap your profile.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the summary of what will be deleted for your family, confirm with your parent PIN, and type DELETE to confirm.
You need an internet connection. If the request can’t reach our servers, nothing is deleted and the app tells you so, so you can try again. When deletion finishes you’re signed out on that device.
On iPhone or iPad
In-app deletion is coming to the iPhone app in an upcoming update. Until then, send us a deletion request through the Contact page (details below). We handle every request within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by email when it’s done.
What gets deleted
What happens depends on your role in the family.
You’re the family owner and the only parent
Your whole family is deleted:
- Your sign-in account, parent profile, and notification (push) tokens.
- Every child profile, including names, Spark avatars, and coin balances.
- All quests, rewards, quest submissions (including photos and audio clips), coin history, and reward redemptions.
- Any open family invite codes.
- Your subscription record with our billing provider (the store subscription itself must still be cancelled by you, see above).
You’re the family owner and other parents are in the family
The family keeps going for the other parents. Ownership passes to the co-parent who joined the family earliest. Then your sign-in account, parent profile, and notification tokens are deleted. Your children, quests, rewards, and history stay with the family. If you pay for Pro, the family moves to the free plan. If you’d rather remove everything, remove the other parents first, then delete your account.
You’re a co-parent (you joined with an invite code)
Your sign-in account, parent profile, and notification tokens are deleted. The family, its children, and its quests and rewards belong to the family owner and are not affected. If you were the one paying for Pro, the family moves to the free plan.
How long it takes
Deletion from our live systems happens right away. Copies in encrypted backups and logs age out within 30 days, except for limited records we must keep for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Request deletion by email or the Contact page
On iPhone, or if you no longer have the app installed or can’t sign in, send us a deletion request through the contact form or by email to djolezizou@gmail.com:
- Use the subject line “Account deletion request.”
- Send it from the email address you use to sign in to QuestSpark (for Sign in with Apple accounts that hide your email, tell us the relay address or the name on the account) so we can confirm the account is yours.
- Tell us whether you’re the family owner or a co-parent.
We confirm by email before deleting anything and complete the request within 30 days, usually much sooner. Remember to cancel any subscription in the App Store or Google Play yourself.
